Subject: Complaint against Basant Gas Service, Naini, Prayagraj for Misleading Practices and Overcharging

Respected Sir/Madam,

I would like to bring to your notice a serious issue regarding Basant Gas Service, Naini, Prayagraj. The agency is misleading customers by compelling them to purchase the Suraksha gas pipe and regulator at a higher price (₹250), despite the fact that the regulator and pipe cost is already included in the charges collected at the time of providing the LPG connection.

This practice amounts to overcharging and unfair trade, causing financial loss and harassment to customers. Such actions are not only against the norms of Indian Oil Corporation but also diminish customer trust in IOCL’s services.

I kindly request you to take strict action against Basant Gas Service and ensure:

Immediate cessation of such malpractice.

Refund of the excess amount charged to customers.

Monitoring of the agency’s activities to prevent recurrence.
