I am Pinaki. I had placed an order for Sony PSN network wallet top voucher code from Amazon online portal on 29th January 2025. The seller was GamersGalaxy. After receiving the code I found it was not a valid code. On a repeated contact to Amazon customer service regarding the resolution, they keep on delaying to provide the solution. Finally on 19th February the Customer Grievance cell of Amazon has denied providing any resolution by falsely claiming that the code was already been redeemed after the delivery.
I have already communicated to Sony Customer Service about the voucher code validity in which they confirmed that code was invalid and not present in their database.
I also provided sufficient proof of my claim to Amazon but they denied to provide any resolution.

Notable Points
  1. Amazon customer care executive earlier agreed over email to initiate the refund, but later escalation desk denied for the same
  2. The Invoice found fake as the seller name and address was found different. The invoice mentioned seller confirmed that it is fake

As discussed, on 20th Feb 2025, I again received a call from Amazon Customer relation service desk. As I have provided the new evidence regarding the fraudulent activity to Amazon, they assured to get back with a resolution on 2nd March 2025. In case they denied, I will update and ask for assistance to send a legal notice to Amazon. Enclosed mail communication.

The recent update is, I was waiting for final call from Amazon India team for an update on the resolution of the aforementioned issue. It was scheduled on 2nd March 2025; however, it got postponed to 9th March 2025. I received a call on 9th March 2025 from Amazon customer grievance team and there is no new resolution on this as they are claiming that the product was legit.
They still denying email confirmation from Sony PSN service which specifically mentioned about that the code was fake and ask for to contact the seller.
I am now done waiting for resolution from Amazon. Kindly assist on serving legal notice to Amazon India and file a case to consumer court
