Hello,

ITS been 4 months, i am struggling to recieve a refund for my cancelled flight which was done by the Airline (Spicejet) due to operational reason.

I have definitely called 5-6 times from 2nd week of January 2026 till now. firstly they are not connecting calls and when you pressed on IVR to have a refund information they will only respond on an automated voice kindly check back in 46 hours or so.

Details of the flight : SPICEJET (Darbhanga - Mumbai) SG 335
PNR-087C7Y
Date Of Journey: 4 January 2026.
Date of Booking: 2 January 2026
4 person.
Total Money Spent: 32,220.

Now the Nodal Officer of Spicejet says, a Full refund has been initiated on 21st January itself, kindly find attachment on the email what i have recieved after filing a complaint on Airsewa. but what they mentioned the Booking agent is travelboutiqueonline, although i have booked it through GoIBIBO.

Kindly suggest what to do, GoIBBIO is a real pain. They are just not responsive getting customers money.

We are outlining the first step to be taken before filing a case in the Consumer Forum against Goibibo.

Please follow the steps mentioned below. If you have already contacted the Goibibo customer care via email and have not received any response, kindly share the relevant details with us so that we may guide you further.

We recommend that you first send an email to the customer care department of the Goibibo (grievanceofficer@goibibo.com), clearly outlining your concerns, and requesting for Compensation and also ask them to Refund the amount.

This step not only gives the Goibibo a chance to compensate and refund but also helps strengthen your case if you decide to file a complaint with the Consumer Forum later..
