I am writing to express my concern over the prolonged delay and lack of response regarding my college fee refund.
I took admission in Bahra University Shimla Hills Himachal Pradesh on 17/06/25.
Due to some emergency happened I decided to cancelled my admission then I went back to home and requested my councellor to cancel the admission.
After that I aslo applied multiple times for the fee refund of 5000 rupees. I complaint many times on UGC E Samadhan portal but nothing happened. I talked to my councellor and she said refund process is started your refund will be initiated soon but it didn't.
It's been so long delay and I haven't received any refund.
I am requesting to kindly inform the university to give fee refund as soon as possible because I'm going through a financial crisis.

You took admission at Bahra University, Shimla Hills, Himachal Pradesh on 17th June 2025. Shortly after, due to a personal emergency, you had to cancel your admission and returned home. You reached out to your counsellor requesting cancellation of the admission and also applied multiple times for a refund of your fee amounting to ₹5,000.


Despite your repeated follow-ups, you received no refund. You also filed complaints on the UGC E-Samadhan portal, but unfortunately, no resolution came through. Your counsellor did assure you that the refund process had been initiated and would be credited soon — however, that promise was never fulfilled.

It has now been a very long time since you made this request, and you are currently facing a financial crisis, which makes this delay even more difficult for you to bear.

We completely understand how stressful and exhausting this situation must be for you. A delay of this nature — especially when you are going through financial hardship — is absolutely unacceptable. Rest assured, we are here to help you take this forward.

Please follow the steps mentioned below. If you have already contacted the University via email and have not received any response, kindly share the relevant details with us so that we may guide you further.

Step: 1
We recommend that you first Send a detailed email to info@bahrauniversity.edu.in outlining your issue, including admission details and any previous correspondence and request to Refund within 7 days.

Step: 2 - Offline
You can also send Legal Notice via registered post at Bahra University Head Office.
