Dear Consumer Court Team,

I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I have faced with an online order placed through Flipkart. The details of the order are as follows:

Boat stone opus - bluetooth speaker
Order ID: OD335674528246391100
Order Date: 08th October 2025
Shipping Date: 08th October 2025
Logistics Provider: Ekart Logistics (Tracking ID: FMPP3432784714)
Shipping Route: The order reached my location coimbatore on the same date, as confirmed by Flipkart Customer Care. And it took 20 days for them to say that the order is lost and I was following with them through their help line and they informed atlast that the product is lost. Following their advice, they canceled my order on 28th October 2025 and placed a new order on 28th October 2025 with the following details:

New Order ID: OD335674528246391100
Logistics Provider: Ekart Logistics (Tracking ID:FMPP3486613740)
Despite waiting until 9th November 2025, I was not able to receive the new order. I contacted the local delivery office and it was said that the order was not recieved in the hub but in Flipkart app its shows that the product reached the local hub in coimbatore. I am pretty sure that they are not ready to give the product what I have ordered.

I have waited a total of 33 days without receiving my order and have been given inconsistent and unsatisfactory reasons for the non-delivery. I request your support in resolving this matter. I can provide all evidence, including chat transcripts with Flipkart Customer Care. You may also collect call recordings from Flipkart for verification.

As a customer, I seek justice and a resolution to this issue.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

They have cancelled the order with out asking us and the money got refunded.
And this was their reason "Sorry, your order was cancelled as it could not be delivered due to logistical constraints".

Hello @Suresh Kumar

Their are many reason to cancel the order. Please review.

Out of Stock or Inventory Error

  • Sometimes the website shows a product as “available” due to a system or stock-sync error, but when the warehouse checks, it turns out the item isn’t actually in stock.
  • Example: The seller had only one unit left, but multiple buyers placed the order at the same time.

Payment or Verification Issues

  • Even if payment was made, there may be verification mismatches (e.g., billing address mismatch, failed verification by payment gateway, suspected fraud).
  • In such cases, platforms automatically cancel the order for security reasons and refund the amount.

Delivery Location Problem

  • The seller or courier may later discover that the address is undeliverable or that the courier service doesn’t operate in that pin code.
  • Sometimes rural or remote locations cause automatic cancellation.

Quality Control Failure

  • Before dispatch, some items undergo a quality check.
If a defect or damage is found, the seller cancels the order to avoid complaints.

Technical or Pricing Error

  • If the seller violated platform policies (e.g., fake product, pricing issue, or misleading description), the platform may suspend or remove the listing and cancel all related orders.

Technical or Pricing Error

  • Sometimes, products are listed at the wrong price due to a technical glitch or human error (for example, ₹100 instead of ₹10,000).
  • In such cases, companies usually cancel the order citing a “pricing error” and issue a refund.

High Demand or Flash Sale Errors

  • During big sales, when servers are overloaded, some orders are accepted but later canceled because stock counts weren’t updated fast enough.

What You Can Do as a Consumer

  1. Request a refund confirmation and transaction ID.
  2. If the company delays refund or gives vague reasons, you can file a complaint on:
