Dear Sir/Madam,
I am constrained to issue this legal notice to formally place on record my serious grievance against AACHHO JAIPUR PVT LTD. for adopting unfair, misleading, and legally untenable business practices, causing financial loss and mental harassment to consumers.
1. Illegal and Arbitrary “No Return / No Refund” Policy
Aachho website and official communication categorically declare “No Return / No Refund”, allowing only exchange or replacement. This policy is arbitrary, one-sided, and unenforceable in law, particularly for online purchases where consumers do not get the opportunity to physically inspect goods before delivery.
It is relevant to note that several multinational brands such as Zara, H&M, and others—despite not being Indian companies—provide fair and transparent return and refund policies within 15–30 days, both online and offline. Their refusal to provide similar basic consumer safeguards, despite charging premium prices, reflects exploitation rather than a bona fide business practice.
2. Violation of Consumer Protection Act, 2019
Your actions squarely fall under Unfair Trade Practice and Deficiency of Service as defined under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including:
• Section 2(47) – Unfair Trade Practice
• Section 2(11) – Deficiency of Service
• Sections 18 & 19 – Violation of Consumer Rights
A business entity cannot override statutory consumer rights by merely displaying a disclaimer or internal policy. Any clause that deprives consumers of their lawful remedies is void and unenforceable.
3. Illegal Denial of Return on the Pretext of Missing Tags
It is categorically clarified that:
• Few clothing items were delivered without tags at the time of receipt indicates they sent already used item.
• The products are unused, unworn, and remain in original condition as received.
• Return cannot be denied on grounds of missing tags when such tags were never provided.
Out of the 6 suits ordered, only 4 have been delivered so far, and all four suffer from serious issues. One suit was delivered without any tag, another had a price tag reflecting an amount (i.e. Rs.2,784.64) different from what was charged (i.e. Rs.5,217), and one suit is clearly defective. Overall, all four suits received are of cheap and substandard quality, completely inconsistent with the product descriptions and prices advertised. This reflects gross misrepresentation, quality compromise, and unfair trade practices
Denying return on this basis amounts to misrepresentation and unfair conduct, and cannot be used as a shield to escape legal liability.
4. Right to Return and Refund
As a consumer, I am legally entitled to:
• Return unused goods found undesirable
• Seek refund for defective, misrepresented, or unsatisfactory products
• Claim compensation for harassment, inconvenience, and financial loss
Their internal policy does not supersede statutory consumer protections guaranteed under Indian law.
5. Complete Non-Responsiveness and Suppression of Grievances
It is further brought to notice that I have made repeated attempts to resolve this issue amicably, including:
• Contacting Ms. Rimjhim Hada and Mr. Anurag Singh Khangarot, owners of Aachho Jaipur Pvt. Ltd., via Instagram
• Reaching out to your customer support team via email, phone calls, and WhatsApp
Despite multiple attempts, there has been no response whatsoever from any channel, clearly establishing negligence, deliberate avoidance, and lack of accountability.
Additionally, genuine consumer complaints and comments are being deleted or suppressed on social media platforms, indicating malafide intent to mislead the public.
6. Liability of Brand Promoters and Celebrities
I also reserve my legal right to initiate proceedings not only against AACHHO JAIPUR PVT LTD., but also against celebrities and influencers promoting your brand, for endorsing and profiting from a company engaged in unfair and deceptive practices. This is a lawful remedy available to me, and I am fully entitled to pursue the same.
7. Demand
You are hereby called upon to:
1. Withdraw the illegal “No Return / No Refund” policy
2. Process lawful refunds wherever demanded
3. Stop denying returns on false or manufactured grounds
4. Respond to this notice within 7 days from receipt

This notice is issued without prejudice to all other legal rights and remedies available to me under applicable laws.
Kindly take this matter with the seriousness it deserves.
Yours sincerely,
Khushi Singh Chouhan
(Consumer)
