Hi Sir/Madam,
I am Sidda.Dinesh Resident of Sriakakulam town in AndharaPradesh. I have bought a Bajaj Chetak E-Bike in Srikakulam Chetak Showroom on 29th september 2025. Company manager told me that the company provide a Helmet with the new purchase of Bike and they have taken a photograph of me(Customer) with a old helmet and uploaded it in their website. i have asked them when will you provide a new helmet and they told me that we will provide you soon. Now I am asking for a helmet and they are telling that no such rule is there but as per central Motor Vehicle Rule 138(4)f , this rule mandates that two-wheeler manufacturers must supply protective headgear that conforms to BIS Specifications at the time of Purchase. But the srikakulam chetak branch not providing any helmet and while asking for helmet their company manager Jairam talking rudely with customer, that we will not provide any helmet and if you want to complaint anywhere you complaint.
