I am filing this complaint regarding the mishandling of my return for Order No. 40301649111 for a Spider-Man Boxy Fit T-Shirt, for which I paid ₹1,840.
The order was delivered on 29/07/2026, and the order page clearly showed a return deadline of 29/08/2026.
On 18/08/2026, Bershka confirmed my return and collection request. Subsequently, in an email dated 04/09/2026, Bershka itself confirmed that the order was delivered on 29/07/2026 and that the return was processed successfully on 18/08/2026.
However, Bershka later claimed that the returned T-shirt was received in a “damaged/worn condition” and refused to process my refund. I immediately disputed this and clearly stated that I had returned the item in the same condition in which I received it and had not worn, damaged, or intentionally deteriorated the product.
I specifically asked Bershka on call to provide details of the alleged damage/wear and any available inspection evidence or photographs. Instead of providing such evidence or giving a proper resolution, Bershka continued to reject my refund.
In its latest response dated 10/09/2026, Bershka again stated that the item was allegedly damaged/worn and offered to reship the item only if I paid ₹410 in shipping charges.
This handling is highly concerning because Bershka's own correspondence confirms that the return was processed on 18/08/2026, while the stated return deadline was 29/08/2026. Therefore, the return was within the stated return period. The remaining dispute is the alleged condition of the returned item, for which Bershka has not provided the evidence requested by me.
I have also had to wait several days between responses and have repeatedly received generic responses without a satisfactory resolution.
I request that Bershka:
I am attaching the relevant order details, return confirmation, Bershka's damaged/worn allegation, my response disputing the allegation and requesting evidence, Bershka's subsequent rejection, and its latest response regarding the ₹410 reshipment charge.
