Dear Team,
I wish to lodge a formal complaint against two individuals (hereinafter referred to as the Opposite Parties) who, in the year 2024, approached me and offered professional services for job placement and work visa processing for Germany.
As per the discussions and assurances given by the Opposite Parties, I paid a total amount of ₹7,50,000 (Rupees Seven Lakh Fifty Thousand only) towards their services. The scope of work clearly included:
Securing a valid job offer letter, and
Completion of the German work visa process,
within a mutually agreed timeline.
It was explicitly agreed that the entire process would be completed on or before November 2024.
However, despite the lapse of the agreed timeline and repeated follow-ups from my end:
No job offer letter has been provided till date (2026).
The promised work visa process has not been completed.
The Opposite Parties have failed to provide any credible explanation, documentary proof, or revised timeline.
Despite multiple requests, they have not refunded the amount paid by me.
The prolonged delay of over one year beyond the agreed deadline, coupled with the failure to deliver the promised services or refund the amount, clearly constitutes:
Deficiency in service,
Unfair trade practice, and
Negligence and misrepresentation, causing me significant financial loss, mental harassment, and loss of professional opportunities.
The entire amount paid was my hard-earned money, invested in good faith based on the assurances given by the Opposite Parties. Their continued non-performance and refusal to refund the amount has left me with no alternative but to seek legal redressal.
I therefore request the Hon’ble Consumer Court to:
Direct the Opposite Parties to refund ₹7,50,000 in full,
Award appropriate compensation for mental agony, harassment, and loss of opportunity, and
Grant any other relief deemed fit in the interest of justice.
