Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Shiwam Kumar, residing at Tulsikitta, Pathargama, Godda, Jharkhand -814147, hereby file this complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 against Livpure Pvt. Ltd. for deficiency in service, negligence, and unfair trade practices.

Details of the Product Purchased

  • Product: Livpure LIV-PEP-PRO-PLUS+ RO Water Purifier
  • Date of Purchase: 20/10/2024
The water purifier functioned only for 3–4 months. Thereafter, the RO completely stopped working, and no water has been coming out.
Starting from May 2025, I have been consistently registering complaints and requesting service support. Despite multiple calls and follow-ups:
  • No technician was sent for repair.
  • Customer care repeatedly promised service within 2–3 days but no visit ever happened.
  • I was given the contact of the Regional Manager, Mr. Priya Ranjan (7488106121). He initially assured support but has now stopped responding to calls entirely.

My family has been facing continuous inconvenience for over 8 months, solely due to Livpure’s failure to provide service.

The issue was repeatedly reported within the warranty period, yet the company failed to take action. Due to Livpure’s negligence and non-responsiveness, the problem remained unresolved, and the warranty has now expired.

Reliefs Sought

I hereby request the Hon’ble Commission to kindly direct Livpure Pvt. Ltd. to:

  1. Repair the RO Water Purifier free of cost OR replace it with a new unit.
  2. Refund the cost of the product if repair/replacement is not possible.
  3. Pay compensation for mental harassment, inconvenience, and denial of basic water purification facilities for 8 months.
