Subject: Complaint Against Main street marketplace for Fraudulent Online Activity – Order Not Delivered & No Response
I would like to file a complaint against an online website called Main street marketplace for suspected fraud and non-delivery of product even after receiving full payment in advance.
Order & Payment Details:

•Product Ordered: Puma SpeedCat Ballet Shoes – Black & More Pink
•Order Date: 22nd September 2024
•Amount Paid: ₹7,000
•Mode of Payment: [add UPI / bank transfer / card here]
•Customer Location: Surat, Gujarat
•Seller Location (as per website & WhatsApp number): Mumbai, Maharashtra
Issue Summary:
• I placed an order on the 22 nd September for Puma Speedcat Ballet shoes black mauve mist and i paid the total amount of Rs 6999The website clearly mentioned 10-day delivery, but despite over 20 days passing, I have not received my order.
•After placing my order, I received a message from them 2–3 days later saying the order was delayed, but they did not give any valid reason.
•I was later informed by email that my order would be delivered by 15th October 2024.
•I repeatedly asked for tracking details, but they kept replying with the same message:
“You will receive tracking once your order is shipped.”
Till today, no tracking details have been shared.
•I even informed them that I am leaving for an international trip on 18th October, so delivery before 17th October is necessary. However, they still avoided giving any confirmed shipping date.
•They stopped responding to my messages after Friday 5:55 PM (11th October), even though I followed up on Saturday and Sunday.
•I also tried calling their contact number, but the phone was switched off.
•Despite being located in Mumbai, they have not shipped my order for more than 20 days, even though shipping between Mumbai and Surat normally takes less than 5 days.
•After researching online, I found many negative reviews on Reddit and other platforms, where people reported:
•Orders arriving after 4–5 months
•No refunds issued
•In many cases, orders never arrived at all
This behavior appears to be highly suspicious and fits the pattern of online shopping fraud. The company has taken my money but has neither shipped my order nor provided any valid update or refund. Their WhatsApp response has stopped, their phone is unreachable, and they have failed to provide shipping proof.
I request urgent action:
Investigate Main street marketplace for fraudulent activity
Take strict action against them under applicable Consumer Protection and Cyber Fraud laws
Help me recover my ₹7,000
Prevent them from cheating more people online
