I have purchased Volkswagen Tiguan on 20th May , 24 .

Since purchase the vehicle has gone to the dealer's workshop for 4 times & remained there for 8 days .

The issues are -

1. There is a peculiar noise from the vehicle when one moves the steering - creeking noise , the plant of Volkswagen has conveyed that this noise is inherent in this vehicle & they can do nothing about it . The noise is frictional noise which is irritating as well can lead to mechanical failure .Such kind of noise does not come in any other vehicle .

2. The suspension is very hard .

3. The Company had claimed average of 15 - 16 km / litre of petrol whereas the actual average is around 8 km / litre .

4. I am informed that the model sold to me has been discontinued whereas such information was not given while selling .

On repeated complaints , the dealer of Volkswagen has offered additional warranty which obviously is not acceptable because of inherent defect . The dealer says refund can be made if I accept sharing the depreciation cost which is not acceptable since the vehicle given has inherent defects .

The Company is refusing to give the refund .

Above points no 1 & 2 refer to manufacturing / design defects .

Points no 3 & 4 refer to - Unfair Trade Practices .

Your case is very strong, I suggest you to E-Mail to the Skoda and your local dealer about the complaint, mention only about the problem you are facing, wait for 15 days if they will not reply you can file a case in Consumer Forum.

There has been no concrete response from the company - Volkswagen , they are avoiding all the issues raised .

Please advise the process to file the complaint in Consumer forum .

process to file the complaint in Consumer forum

The process is very simple, you need to create an account in Consumer Commission E-Filing Application

After the verification, you need to upload 4 main files and supporting files.

1) Affidavit
2) Memo of Parties
3) Index
4) Events

And supporting documents like Addhar Card, Jobsheets, Bills etc... (Depending upon the Event file)

The forum will review your case and files and update you accordingly.

In Consumer Forum, your documentation part should be strong.
