Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against SRI AMR BIKES, located at No.71 PT Rajan Road, Narimedu, Madurai, regarding the refund for an electric vehicle (EV) that I purchased and subsequently returned.
Details of the Transaction:
After purchasing the vehicle, I found that it did not meet my expectations and was not in satisfactory condition for use. I promptly returned the vehicle to the store( They delivered the bike to my house on 23 June and on the very same day I asked them to take it back, as I cannot drive it; when acceleration is given, it moves in another direction, and requested a full refund. However, the store owner has refused to refund the amount immediately, stating that they will refund the money only after reselling the vehicle and has also mentioned reducing the GST amount from the refund.
I believe this practice is unfair and against consumer protection laws, as I returned the product in a reasonable time frame due to dissatisfaction with the product’s condition and performance. I have made several attempts to resolve this matter amicably with the store, but they have not provided a satisfactory solution.
I kindly request your intervention to:
I trust the consumer forum will take prompt action to protect my rights as a consumer.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Yours faithfully,
Arvind Kanna K
