On 10 October 2024, I loaded ₹1000 into UPI Lite on Google Pay. Later, when I disabled UPI Lite, the balance did not return to my linked bank account, even though NPCI guidelines state that the amount must be automatically refunded upon disabling.
I have contacted Google Pay support multiple times through email and in-app help. Their only response is that the issue is “under enquiry,” and no refund has been provided till date. It has now been several weeks with no resolution, no timeline, and no proper response from the service provider.
I am attaching my bank statement (Password for the Bank statement file: 26845120702) , which clearly show that the ₹1000 refund was never credited. This is causing financial loss, inconvenience, and mental stress due to negligent service and failure to follow UPI Lite refund rules.
I request the consumer forum to kindly:
1. Direct Google Pay to refund the pending ₹1000 immediately, and
2. Provide appropriate compensation for delay, negligence, and mental harassment.
