Respected Sir/Madam,

I, **Piyush**, authorized representative of the complainant **Mrs. Nisha**, submit this brief consumer complaint against **ACKO General Insurance Company Ltd.** for **deficiency in service and unfair trade practice** under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

The complainant purchased a valid motor insurance policy from the opposite party after paying the full premium. During the policy period, an accident occurred and a claim was duly registered within time. All documents required by the insurer were submitted, and multiple surveys and physical verifications were conducted. The insured vehicle was fully repaired and ready for delivery.

Despite full compliance by the complainant and completion of all verification formalities, the insurer **unreasonably delayed the claim for more than 30 days** and thereafter **wrongfully rejected the claim without providing any valid or written reason**, which is arbitrary and against IRDAI guidelines.

Further, during physical verification, a representative of the insurer attempted to access the **personal mobile phone gallery** of the complainant’s representative, which is unrelated to claim assessment and amounts to harassment and invasion of privacy.

Due to the wrongful acts of the opposite party, the complainant has suffered **financial loss, mental agony, and harassment**. The conduct of the insurer clearly amounts to **deficiency in service** and **unfair trade practice** under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

### Relief Sought:

1. Direction to the opposite party to **pay the insurance claim amount of ₹ 50,000
2. Payment of **interest @ 12% per annum** on the claim amount from the date of claim registration till realization
3. **Compensation for mental harassment and financial loss**
4. In the alternative, **refund of the full policy premium with interest**
5. Any other relief deemed fit in the interest of justice
