Booked online two AC rooms for three days from Check in 05/08/2025 to 08/08/2025 Check out. A sum of Rs.7200/- was paid. Reservation Slip attached.
On 05/08/2025, arriving at the Hotel Ratan Vihar when rooms were shown by local Hotel Authority we were dismayed to find the condition of the rooms. Walls of the Rooms were fully damped and all fittings were either not working or in dilapidated condition.
We raised our concern with Hotel Manager, who expressed his helplessnessand intimated that in spite of repeated requests to higher authorities this unhabitable and unhealthy rooms are rented out online. Hotel Manager though admits condition of the accommodation expressed inability to refund the booking money because he has got no power to refund. Hotel Manager suggested us to write to higher authorities.
As we had no other way except leaving the hotel and searching for a new hotel as we had come with our family. Wrote letters to Higher Authority time and again without any remedies and even without any response from them.
Stating aforesaid facts it is stated ----
That on taking such money for Advance Booking the Hotel Authority has got responsibility to its customers to provide full and satisfactory accommodation but failed to discharge it's duty.
That not improving unhealthy and unhabitable condition of the accommodation the Hotel Authority has shown negligence in service to customers by taking Advance Money and for not providing appropriate rooms.
That even after writing several letters to Higher Authority did not refund the Advance Booking Payment of Rs.7200/- and also didn't take care to reply to the customer. This the Hotel Authority has shown utter negligence towards giving remedies for the Customer.

Above statements and information as well as enclosure may kindly be perused and give directions to the Hotel Authority to pay Advance Booking money of Rs.7200/- along with interest and pay a suitable amount for harassment meter to me.
