Dear Sir/Madam,
I, Shilpa Aravind Mavarakar, residing at 13/50, NK Yadav building, Gali no 09, Rao Fateh Singh Marg, Kapashera- 110037, Delhi. Am a customer of your platform Amazon.in. I am issuing this legal notice regarding the delivery of a damaged product and your company’s failure to provide refund or replacement despite valid complaint.
That I placed an order on 5 February 2026 bearing Order No. 408-5644619-2400313 through Amazon.in.
That the product titled “PLIX - The Plant Fix Guava Powered Regime for Glowy Skin” was delivered to me on 7 February 2026.
Upon opening the package, I found the product to be damaged/defective and not in usable condition.
I immediately contacted your customer care service and requested a refund/replacement within the prescribed return period.
However, your representatives refused to initiate the refund/replacement and further sent a communication alleging violation of “Conditions of Use”, which is arbitrary, unjustified, and without proper investigation.
The said action amounts to:
Deficiency in service
Unfair trade practice
Violation of consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
It is your legal obligation to provide goods that are free from defects and to address legitimate refund/replacement claims.
Therefore, through this legal notice, I hereby call upon you to:
Initiate full refund of ₹949/- OR provide immediate replacement of the damaged product.
Provide written clarification regarding the alleged violation.
Resolve this matter within 15 days from receipt of this notice.
Failing which, I shall be constrained to initiate appropriate legal proceedings before the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, at your cost and risk, including claim for compensation for mental harassment and litigation expenses.
This notice is issued without prejudice to my legal rights.
Kindly treat this matter as urgent.
