purchased a 26 kg rice bag on 2nd June 2025 for ₹1650 from [kumar rice shop] at [3/408, A B krishna nagar, Near Jain peter church, Ayyar bangala mani road, thirupalai, madurai].
Within a few weeks, I found that the rice bag is infested with insects (weevils).
When I requested an exchange or refund, the shop owner refused to help and told me to buy a new bag.

This is unfair and not acceptable. I request the Consumer Court to take immediate action against the shop and help me get either a full refund or a replacement for the defective rice bag.

Its very common because of many factors..
Hello sir,
When I purchased the rice bag, it was in good condition. It was sealed properly and there were no insects or damage.
We stored it in a clean, dry place at home as well, but still weevils appeared within a few weeks.
This is unfair because we spent ₹1650 for good quality rice, but now it’s unusable.
I request a fair resolution — either a refund or replacement.
