Sir/Madam,

Under instructions from and on behalf of myself, Mr. NIRANJAN N S, I hereby serve upon you the following legal notice for your gross deficiency in service, negligence, and failure to honor your commitments, causing me immense mental stress, inconvenience, and harassment:


1. Transaction Details

  1. That I had placed an order for a Preethi Tiara 500 W Juicer Mixer Grinder on 26.09.2025 through your e-commerce platform, Flipkart, under Order No. OD435573585560038100, for a total consideration of Rs. 1,918/-, which includes a Protect Promise Fee of Rs. 19/-.
    Despite charging this protection fee, Flipkart has failed to provide the promised protection or assistance in ensuring a hassle-free replacement or refund, thereby violating the very purpose of the protection service.
  2. The said product was delivered on 03.10.2025.

2. Defective Product and Replacement Process

  1. Upon first use, the product emitted smoke/fume while in operation, clearly indicating a manufacturing defect.
  2. Accordingly, I immediately lodged a complaint with Flipkart Customer Care and requested a replacement. Customer Care informed me that a technician visit would be arranged to verify the defect.
  3. On 07.10.2025, I received a call from your technician (Mobile No. 9844976218), who requested a video showing the defect. I duly shared a complete video demonstrating the issue.
  4. The technician acknowledged the defect and confirmed eligibility for replacement.
  5. Subsequently, the replacement was confirmed, and pickup was scheduled for 18.10.2025.

3. Unjustified Cancellation and False Assurances

  1. However, on 09.10.2025, at around 2:52 AM, I was shocked to find that the replacement order had been cancelled without any valid reason or prior intimation.
  2. On contacting your customer care, Customer Care informed that the cancellation occurred due to a “technical problem” and assured that a refund would be processed by 22.10.2025 instead of replacement. A screenshot of the same is attached herewith for your reference.
  3. On 11.10.2025, the refund request was again cancelled. Upon further follow-up, I was told that a replacement would instead be processed; however, on 13.10.2025, even the replacement request was again cancelled, without any justification.
  4. Despite my repeated attempts and calls to your customer care, no refund or replacement has been processed till date, thereby causing me immense mental agony, harassment, and waste of time.
