I’m sharing this to warn fellow travelers about the "Refund Trap" at @Goibibo. Even when the airline does the right thing, the middleman can still block your money.

The Timeline:

• Jan 11: Flight cancelled. Refund request initiated.
• Jan 17: Akasa Air confirms they have sent the money back to Goibibo.
• Jan 17 – Feb 4: Total silence from Goibibo. My money is sitting in their account, not mine.

The Issue: Goibibo’s support keeps giving canned responses while holding onto funds that were cleared by the airline over 2 weeks ago. If you’re booking travel, be aware that "Confirmed Refund" from an airline doesn't mean you'll actually see your money if you booked through this platform.

My Message to @Goibibo: Stop holding customer funds. You have the reference number. You have the money from Akasa. Where is my credit?
