I am writing to file a formal complaint against Airtel Telecom Services for charging me incorrectly for international roaming services.

I am an Airtel customer, and my mobile number is 9612161537. On [6/1125], I noticed an unjustified charge of approximately ₹2240 added to my bill under the category of international roaming. I did not activate or use any international roaming service during this period.


I contacted Airtel customer care several times through calls and emails to resolve this issue, but no satisfactory response or refund has been provided. This has caused me financial loss and inconvenience due to the company’s negligent billing practices.


I therefore request the Consumer Court to kindly take appropriate action against Airtel and direct them to:

  1. Refund the incorrect charge of ₹3005.
  2. Compensate for the inconvenience caused due to their error.
  3. Ensure corrective measures to prevent similar issues for other customers.


I am attaching copies of the following documents for your reference:

  • Airtel bill showing the ₹2240 charge.
  • Proof of complaint made to Airtel customer care.
  • Payment receipt/transaction details (if applicable).

I shall be grateful for your kind intervention in this matter.
