I purchased an LG washing machine (Model: FHP1410Z5M) on 11 June 2025 and registered for an extended warranty. However, I noticed that the serial number on the invoice (INVGHA2515385) does not match the actual product's serial number (506PFTV022985).

I have contacted LG Electronics India multiple times via phone, WhatsApp, and email. Although I received responses from their customer service representatives (Vivek, Tannu, Meenakshi), all replies were generic and did not resolve the issue. The mismatch remains uncorrected, and I have not received any confirmation of action taken.

This discrepancy could affect future warranty claims and service eligibility. I am requesting:
  1. Immediate correction of the serial number in LG’s records and on the invoice.
  2. Written confirmation of the update.
Despite repeated follow-ups since early July 2025, LG has failed to resolve the issue. I am now seeking intervention from consumer grievance authorities to ensure timely resolution.

If the Customer Support is not proving you any solution, we recommend that you to send an email to the CMD Office of LG Electronics using "Write to LG India MD office", clearly outlining your concerns and requesting to solve the Serial Number issue.

This step not only gives the LG Electronics a chance to address the issue but also helps strengthen your case if you decide to file a complaint with the Consumer Forum later.
