On 06 June 2026, I placed an order for Bajaj 500 Watt GX-1 Mixer Grinder with 3 Jars (White) bearing Order No. 404-3659165-1256340. The product was scheduled for delivery on 07 June 2026. However, the Respondent failed to deliver the product on the promised date.
Upon contacting customer support, I was informed that a replacement order would be arranged. Accordingly, a replacement order bearing Order No. 408-8679589-1485138 was generated. Subsequently, this replacement order was also cancelled by the Respondent, citing internal delivery issues.
Due to the inconvenience caused, on 07 June 2026, I placed another order for PHILIPS HL7505/05 Mixer Grinder, bearing Order No. 404-3802239-8768352, with an assured delivery date of 10 June 2026.
The Respondent once again failed to deliver the product on the promised date. Upon repeated follow-ups, the customer support team assured me that the product would be delivered by 11 June 2026. Despite these assurances and continuous follow-up from my side, the product has not been delivered till date.
The repeated failure to deliver products, cancellation of confirmed orders, and misleading assurances from customer support have caused me considerable inconvenience, mental agony, loss of time, and hardship. The Respondent has failed to fulfil its contractual obligations and has demonstrated clear deficiency in service.
Grounds for Complaint
The actions of the Respondent constitute:
Deficiency in service under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Failure to honour confirmed orders and delivery commitments.
Unfair trade practices by providing repeated assurances without fulfilling the same.
Causing mental harassment, inconvenience, and loss to the consumer.
