Complaint Description:
I, Karan Randhawa, a resident of 184 Green Park Jalandhar, Punjab, paid ₹55,000 in 2021 to VLCC Jalandhar for a 15 kg weight loss package. Shortly after my sessions began, operations at the VLCC Jalandhar center were disrupted due to a fire incident. As a result, I was unable to continue the sessions.

Since then, I have:

Repeatedly requested an official receipt for the ₹55,000 paid.

Requested either a resumption of the remaining package or a full refund.

Instead of resolving the issue:

VLCC has refused to issue the receipt.

They have now refused to honor or refund the package, claiming it has “expired,” despite their center being the reason I couldn’t avail the service.

My phone number has been blocked, and my emails are being ignored.

This is a clear case of:

Deficiency in service

Unfair trade practice

Discriminatory treatment of a customer

I had even expressed willingness to resolve this amicably through Consumer Court, but VLCC continues to avoid accountability.

Relief Sought:

Immediate issuance of official receipt for ₹55,000.

Resumption of pending service package OR a full refund of ₹55,000.

Compensation for mental harassment and unethical conduct.
