I have placed an order "Tender Country Chicken" with Country Chicken Private Limited online through their app on Tuesday 12 th August 2025, around 10:50 pm . I have prepaid the order amount online and delivery slot that they promised is between 7:30 am to 9:30am on Wednesday 13 th August 2025 . We are expecting some guests to be served the dishes at 10:15 am on Wednesday 13 th August 2025 during our family party event. But as i am writing this complaint the time is 10:40 am Wednesday 13 th August 2025, the order is not delivered. Due to this delay we had to cancel our party and felt embraced in front of the guests causing irrecoverable damage to our reputation in the society. I request the consumer forum to take stringent action against Country Chicken Private Limited and do justice to me. I have also contacted their customer care through WhatsAPP, Phone but they didn't fulfil the order shipment.

Delivery delays can occasionally happen due to circumstances beyond the control of the delivery personnel or the service provider. This is quite common in many cases:
  • Food deliveries may sometimes be delayed slightly but are usually delivered within a reasonable time.
  • E-commerce purchases may arrive 2–3 days later than the expected date, especially due to logistics issues, weather conditions, or high order volumes.
Such short delays are generally considered acceptable and fall within a reasonable time frame. However, if there is an unreasonable delay, or if the product or service is not delivered at all and not received the refund, you have every right to take action.
