Sub.-Regarding refund of interest amount deposited in gold loan account.
Respected Sir,
The gold loan account statement shows a transaction entry dated 15/05/2025 for Rs. 10621.94, representing the half-yearly interest amount I deposited. It appears that the Branch Manager of Chandrapur Region (5522) has created confusion and ambiguity in this transaction entry by adding the remark "Fund INT Account Credit" in the description (copy attached). Furthermore, there is a lack of transparency regarding this entry, suggesting possible misappropriation. Please provide clarification regarding the transaction entry of Rs. 10621.94 dated 15/05/2025 in Gold Loan Account No. 60514311212 Specifically, clarify from whose savings account this amount was credited to my gold loan account, and provide a written explanation of this entry through a statement.
According to the gold loan account statement, it is clearly evident that the Branch Manager of Chandrapur Region (5522) has interfered with and manipulated the transaction entry for the interest amount of Rs. 10621.94 paid on 15/05/2025, resulting in tampering, misappropriation, and confusion. A written explanation should be provided through the bank statement of the Branch Manager of Chandrapur Region (5522) clarifying from which account the amount of Rs. 10621 and (0.94 paise) came from in the transaction entry dated 15/05/2025. It is crucial to establish transparency in the bank's transactions. Due to having to pay an unexpected penalty during a period of financial difficulty, the Branch Manager has caused me mental distress. This is because I had reliably paid this interest amount myself. However, while the transaction record of the interest amount credited from the savings account to the gold loan account via the app is visible in the gold loan account statement, it is not visible in the savings account bank statement. Due to this discrepancy and the complexity of the transaction, it is becoming difficult for me to prove exactly how much of the half-yearly interest amount was paid (whether it was ₹10621, ₹10621.94, or where the ₹0.94 and ₹118 came from). I have no evidence of the interest payment other than the gold loan account statement. This small amount is very valuable to me. Until now, almost all financial transactions in my gold loan account have been done online through the app, but I have never encountered such a problem before. If I do not receive the amount back, I will lose my trust in the bank.
The interest installment amount for the gold loan was reliably paid by me personally through your branchs Maha Mobile Plus online app, and the payment of the interest amount is clearly visible in the gold loan account statement. It is regrettable that such confusion is being created among customers in a nationalized bank. It is important that customer complaints are resolved and they receive satisfaction. I do not agree with, nor am I satisfied with, the reply sent by the Branch Manager of Bank of Maharashtra, Chikhalgaon, via letter, and I do not accept it.
Therefore, Honorable Sir, the time has come for you to prove that there is transparency in the banks transactions. Considering the seriousness of this matter, I request that you conduct a thorough verification and investigation of the credit and debit transaction entries in the attached gold loan account statement and ensure that I receive justice. I humbly request that the amount of 10621, deposited as semiannual interest in the gold loan account, be considered valid and returned to my account.
Submitted respectfully for your information and further appropriate action.
Your Faithfully
