Dear Sir

I am Bharat Tripathi, holding a Savings Account with HDFC Bank, Bhirana Road, Kanpur Branch (A/c No: 50100630370865). I am writing to formally request your assistance regarding a mistaken fund transfer that occurred on 3rd February 2025.

On the mentioned date, an amount of ₹18,500 was transferred from my above-mentioned account to Account No. 33838100001463 held in the name of Mr. Ram Singh Yadav, with Bank of Baroda, Bakarganj Branch, Uttar Pradesh.

I raised an online complaint regarding this issue on 4th February 2025, but unfortunately, I have not received any resolution to date. Upon following up with my bank (HDFC), I was informed that the beneficiary bank (Bank of Baroda) has been unable to get in touch with the account holder.

As it has now been over four months since the erroneous transaction, I humbly request you to kindly consider reversing the transaction and crediting the amount back to my HDFC account, in good faith, as per standard banking protocols for mistaken transfers where the recipient remains unresponsive.
