Dear Sony Electronics Team

Purchase on 10th Nov 2023.
BRAVIA Television - XR-65X90L bearing Serial No. 7005670, TV, after some time it has been having screen and Display panel problems.

{3 Year warranty comprises of 1 Year Comprehensive + 2 Year Warranty on Panel Only.}
(1) First time Green Dot (Jun 17th 2024)
SONY LED 165CM 65X90L UHD/4K
Lines / bars /dots on screen
I had a problem with my screen before. The sony company by authorised service centre changed under warranty the screen

(2) Second time screen lining Display panel not working screen (22th Oct 2025) complaint registered Authorized service Centre – M/S. Excellent Infosys, Job No. JD1617778 dated 22nd Oct 2025,
I'm being told I broke the screen. If I had, it would have broken the screen or caused physical damage somewhere. The TV is not broken at any point, nor is it cracked, nor is its body damaged in any way.
If the TV burns out or cracks, it is not a product under warranty. Do I even know this much?
I'm experiencing frequent display issues! The company should improve its product.
Please replace the display and return it to me. This is under warranty and is the company's responsibility.
By shirking your responsibility, you are blaming the customer that we clicked it or damaged it.
If I buy a TV in the future, I'll buy one from Sony. Customer satisfaction is crucial to building a sony company-customer relationship.
second option is that the company should replace this product and give me another model or buy a different one.

Punjab - Amritsar - Sony India Ltd V/S Satinder Batish W/o Rajeev Kumar Sharma

Smt. Satinder Batish has purchased one Sony Bravia LED TV model XR55A80J for Rs. 1,56,000/- having one year warranty. The said LED TV started malfunctioning. Upon visit of technician and on his inspection, the complainant received an email that the mother board of said TV is not functioning and needs to be replaced. However, by doing minor adjustments, he made the said TV operative and assured that he will come and change the mother board of said LED TV being under warranty. The complainant number of times approached the SONY INDIA and requested to change the said LED panel and mother board of LED TV in question as it was having manufacturing defect but no heed has been given to the genuine request of the complainant by saying that the said product is out of warranty. It is worth to mention here that the said TV is having manufacturing defect which was reported to the SONY INDIA number of times and the complainant requested the opposite parties to replace the said TV with new one being under warranty but to no avail.

Consumer Forum directed the SONY INDIA to replace the LED of the complainant with new one of same make and model and if they are not in a position to replace the LED of the complainant due to non-availability of same LED model in that case the SONY INDIA is liable to refund Rs. 1,56,000/- to the complainant. and also liable to pay Rs. 10000/- as compensation and litigation expenses of Rs. 5000/- to be paid within 45 days.
