Hi, I have purchased a retail policy from Star Health for my Father and Mother. I have been paying the policy premiums for last 3 years, starting from February 2023. Some days back I planned a cataract surgery for my father which should be covered by Star Health under their policy norms( For cataract surgery they ask for 2 years of policy premiums at least to be completed. I opted for a cashless treatment which was around for 44.5K INR. The entire expense should be covered, but what I got from them is a rejection letter saying my policy is less than 3 years old. I have attached the rejection letter, along with my 3 year policy bonds and I want to understand how come they are doing it and getting away from the legal consequences. In the attached image you can clearly see my policy's inception date is 28th February 2023. They have rejected it first time on 21st February, 2026 and then post re-initiation again they have raised it today on 23rd February, 2026. Its just not about not paying the expenses, why do I have to go through all these hustle for a policy which I have been paying for 3 years? Star health could never do justice to me, so I am asking here, please help me to expose these fraud systems and I want to be compensated for the hassles I had to go through after paying without any failures for the last 3 years yet seeing the cause of rejection is my policy being not older than 2 years.
