I booked air ticket through AIR INDIA WEB SITE for travelling from BHOPAL TO MUMBAI on 2nd august 26 ,AIR INDIA EXPRESS flight no IX 1786 , ticket no 098218527990 PNR 8AD4R6 ,by mistake I spelled my surname as RAGHUWANSSHI IN STEAD OF RAGHUWANSHI .I realised the mistake so on 1st august 26 I contacted air india toll free 01169329333 by 9 AM and requested for modification of my surname as RAGHUWABSHI ,Person responded and told that it can be modified before 24 hours of departure of flight , I expalined that my flight is on 2nd august 26 and will depart at 1.40 PM from BHOPAL , she told me to wait but after some time told change can not be done .I tried to caontact AIR INDIA . AIR INDIA EXPRESS BHOPAL OFFICE but nobody lifted my call so I was forced to purchase another ticket via AIR INDIA SITE and travelled by same flight on 2nd august 26 ,bookin no 8B6VXR .
Sir AIR INDIA has not modified my surname and not bothered to tell AIR INDIA EXPRESS to modify spelling although AIR INDIA EXPRESS is their subsidiary ,have same customer service toll number and refused to reimburse Rs 6178 my second ticket charges although I cancelled my first ticket on 1st august 26 , cancellation ID 43690723 .I pray to you to get my expenditure of Rs 6178 .
