I am filing a formal complaint against EaseMyTrip (EMT) for failure to process a flight cancellation refund within their guaranteed timeframe, causing significant financial and mental hardship.
1. Booking and Cancellation Details:
Booking ID: EMT158689240
Cancellation Date: [27/11/25] (Approx. 7 days ago)
Expected Refund: [ 6720/-]
2. Breach of Policy:
EMT's FAQ/policy clearly states that refunds will be processed within 3 working days. The refund has been due for over a week (7+ days). This delay is a clear breach of service agreement and constitutes an unfair trade practice.
3. Impact and Demands:
The severe delay has caused me financial loss (due to reliance on the funds for other commitments) and considerable mental stress and agony.
I demand the immediate release of the full refund amount plus appropriate compensation for the direct violation of their policy and the distress caused. Failure to act will result in further legal escalation.
