My name is Yogesh Biradar, and I am the owner of an Ola Electric scooter, purchased in May 2022. The vehicle registration number is TS07JE5080, and my contact number is +91 7799858226.

I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a series of unresolved service issues that I have been facing with my Ola Electric scooter. Despite multiple visits to various service centers across Hyderabad, I have not received the necessary support, and my vehicle has been left inoperable for the past two months.

To provide you with some background:

  1. Battery Replacement: In May 2025, I encountered a battery damage issue, and I visited the Gachibowli service center. Since the vehicle had run under 40,000 km, the team replaced the battery under warranty. However, after approximately one month, I began experiencing a significant range drop. The scooter would show a full charge of 130 km but would drop to only 40 km after riding for just 5-10 km.
  2. Service Center Visits: I raised a ticket with customer care and visited the service center again. The vehicle was kept under observation for two weeks, and I was then asked to visit the Narayanguda service center. From there, I was redirected to the Nagole location, and the cycle continued with no resolution.
  3. Inspection and Findings: After significant delays and frustration, the service center staff finally inspected the vehicle more thoroughly and found a small damage to the battery. However, they informed me that this damage could not be repaired at any Ola service center. They suggested either getting the battery repaired outside or purchasing a new one for ₹60,000 with a one-year warranty.
  4. Warranty and Service Disputes: They also stated that my vehicle had exceeded the 40,000 km range now, so I would no longer be eligible for free service. While I am willing to pay for the necessary repairs, I find it unacceptable that my vehicle has been transferred from one service center to another with no resolution. To make matters worse, every time I raise a ticket with customer care, I receive no meaningful response. Tickets are closed automatically after 24 hours without any follow-up.
As of now, my scooter has been sitting idle in my parking lot for over two months. I have also reconsidered purchasing another Ola scooter due to this poor service experience. Additionally, I have spoken to several other Ola customers in my circle, and it appears that many others are facing similar service issues. We have gathered a group of 10-15 people, and more are joining us in expressing dissatisfaction with Ola’s service quality.

I request that immediate action be taken to resolve this matter. I expect a prompt and efficient resolution of my scooter's battery issue and a proper response from ola service team.
