We purchased a new #TataNexon, but from day one the experience has been unacceptable. Here’s the timeline of events

08.08.2025
At delivery:
Minor DRL damage spotted, sales team said “common issue.”
When starting the car, it didn’t start.
We waited 3 hours until a technician came, diagnosed “air lock,” and got it started. We refused delivery that day.
13.08.2025.
After 6 days of discussions with Tata & dealer (Jasper), we were assured everything was fine and no problems would occur. We finally took delivery.
But the same afternoon, the instrument cluster showed engine check light.
14.08.2025
Next day the car went back to service centre. Diagnosis:
ECU failure
Camshaft sensor issue
Rust on some parts
How can a brand-new car already have such issues?
16.08.2025
In just 10 days of purchase:
9 days the car was at the showroom/workshop
Only 1 day with us
This clearly shows the vehicle delivered was defective from the beginning.
17.08.2025
We requested cancellation, refund of payments (including bank disbursement), and cancellation of T.R. & Insurance.
But Tata Motors has refused, offering only repairs under warranty. This response is unacceptable.
Closing Statement from our end
We never expected such a horrible experience from a brand like Tata. Delivering a faulty vehicle knowingly is a serious breach of customer trust.
We urge @TataMotors_Cars to resolve this responsibly.
