we have received electricity bill extremely high

we consumer of the MSEDCL since last 5 years we use electricity on domestic use purpose so we receive electricity bills around 300/- or below it how ever last month (June 2025) we received electricity bill 7860/- on this we launch complaints in MSEDCL application it reduced till 4500/- which is extremely high bill for domestic use for one month. MSEDCL personal said on call that meter reading agency company mad mistake in reading they have put penalty on the company. but we have to pay the bill. what is this logic. we need justice from this we are not in the capacity to pay the bill.

My simple request is reduce extremely high bill from Rs 4500/- to Rs. 300/- which is actual electricity consumption.
please find attached copy of reply form the MSEDCL (customercare@mahadiscom.in)
I had raised concern in the email given by you how ever I did not get any solution in the extremely high bill provided by the MSEDCL.
I am waiting for justice.

In such a situation, we suggest that you proceed by sending a legal notice to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the MSEDCL, formally requesting to check the bill and provide solution. Kindly allow them a 15-day period to respond to the notice.

If you do not receive any response within this timeframe, please revert to us. We will then guide you through the process of filing a case in the Consumer Forum.
