Dear Customer Court Team,


I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against SpiceJet regarding an unfair cancellation fee and lack of proper response from their customer support.


On [Date], I received a notification from Google Flights stating that my scheduled SpiceJet flight was delayed by six hours. Based on this information, I proceeded to cancel my booking within four hours of receiving the notification. However, despite my prompt action, SpiceJet has refused to issue a full refund and has charged an excessive cancellation fee of ₹4,000 out of my total fare of ₹5,009.


I immediately contacted SpiceJet and requested either:

1. A full refund, considering the cancellation was based on misleading flight delay information, or
2. An option to book another flight instead of a refund.

Unfortunately, my request was ignored, and I have received no satisfactory response. This lack of support and unjustified deduction of my money constitutes clear harassment and unfair treatment of customers.


I kindly request the Customer Court to intervene in this matter and ensure that SpiceJet issues a full refund or provides an alternate resolution. Please let me know the necessary steps to escalate this issue further.
