I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a defective mobile phone I purchased from Flipkart and the lack of proper resolution from both Flipkart and Samsung

I ordered a Samsung Galaxy A35 mobile phone worth ₹20,000 through Flipkart. However, within a short period of use, the device started exhibiting serious issues such as:

  • Battery draining rapidly (lasting only around 4 hours)
  • Frequent automatic restarts
  • Overall poor performance
I promptly contacted Flipkart customer support and reported the issues. They advised me to visit a Samsung service center for inspection. Accordingly, I visited the authorized Samsung service center, but they merely restarted the device and informed me that this was normal behavior and the battery would only last for 4 hours. They refused to provide any resolution and directed me to contact Flipkart for a return or replacement.Upon contacting Flipkart again and explaining the situation, they insisted I revisit the service center, despite my informing them that I had already done so with no resolution. I requested a return or replacement for the defective product, but Flipkart is refusing to process my request and continues to redirect me to the service center.This back-and-forth has caused me immense inconvenience and dissatisfaction. I feel I have been sold a defective product and neither the seller (Flipkart) nor the manufacturer (Samsung) is taking appropriate responsibility to resolve the issue.I kindly request the Consumer Court to look into this matter and help facilitate a fair resolution—either a full refund or a replacement of the faulty mobile device.

Yes, Flipkart is only a service provide.

Flipkart is refusing to process
You need to contact Samsung service center.
