Very disappointed with Cars24.

I sold my car to them in May 2024, and even after more than 1.5 years, the registration has still not been transferred from my name. I continue to receive challans and notifications for a vehicle that I no longer own, which is completely unacceptable from a company of this scale and reputation.

I have been constantly following up with their customer support team, but no one seems willing to take responsibility or provide a proper resolution. I have even emailed senior management and directors, yet there has been no action taken.

This situation has caused me significant mental stress and concern. It is extremely worrying to receive traffic challans for a car that was sold long ago, especially when I have no idea where or how the vehicle is being used now.

I strongly urge future buyers and sellers to be very careful while dealing with Cars24. My experience with their post-sale service has been extremely disappointing, and the lack of accountability is alarming

You sold your Mahindra Scorpio to Cars24 back in May 2024, but even after more than 1.5 years, the vehicle registration has not been transferred out of your name. As a result, you continue to receive traffic challans and notifications for a vehicle you no longer own — with absolutely no idea where the car is being used or by whom.

Despite reaching out repeatedly to their customer support team and even escalating the matter by emailing senior management and directors, nothing has moved. No one has taken responsibility and no resolution has been provided, leaving you with the very real risk of legal and financial liabilities arising from a vehicle that is no longer yours.


This is a serious lapse on Cars24's part — the RC transfer is their obligation post-purchase, and failing to complete it for over 18 months is both negligent and a clear deficiency in service.

Important Note: You need to act fast to avoid any legal consequences.
