Issue Type: Existing Warranty Service

One of the screw socket attached to the Chasis or lower cover of my laptop got a crack due to the weight of screen as I use the laptop on my lap most of the time while travelling or at home. I asked Lenovo so provide service since it is due to deficency of their laptop for not being able to hold the weight of the screen socket.
Lenovo mentioned that I am not supposed to use the laptop on Lap and it will not be covered under warranty. I then requested to atleast share the quotation so that I can pay for the service.

However, despite my follow-ups and escalation. There has been no response from Lenovo. Finally I gave them notice and and threatened to make complaint against them in consumer court and also expose them over social media. Still they are not providing me any relief.

It seems Lenovo doesn't even care about the consumer court complaint. I request you to please help in this service denial from Lenovo.

About not using the laptop over the lap, their customer service guy told me over the phone and mentioned that this has also been mentioned in their website, which I couldn't find.

Below is the email which I sent them
//Dear Lenovo team,
Why I am being denied quotation?

My Laptop lower chassis is now falling apart and my laptop my get damaged due to your denial of service or quotation.

We have spent huge money to purchase this laptop and now you are unable to even give me quotation after being promised for the same?

I have provided your team with all the info and your personal even had a video view of the laptop to get the info 3 weeks back

Please take this as a final notice. I will have to move to consumer court because you guys are denying me even paid service I am willing to take even though the product is in warranty.

If anything happens to my laptop, It will be responsibility of Lenovo and I will share all our correspondence in social media since you are not only insulting your customer by closing ticket without any resolution but also fooling us around in email for weeks when the quotation could have been given without couple of days.

Thanks
Harish Sharma//
