Air India flight delay in domestic and it's impact on international travel

I had purchased air India ticket for two of my family members. one from Mangalore to Mumbai (Air India) and the other is Mumbai to Doha (Air India), due to reschedule announced (1hour 30 min) last moment by air India from Mangalore to Mumbai, we were not in a position to go for check in and board the flight as we were sure of missing Mumbai to Doha flights and even the Air India staff at Mangalore airport confirmed the same. Two tickets for two passengers are from different agent and different PNR's. Ticket was no show. We wrote to all (agent MakeMyTrip and Air India) and no one claims responsibility
The ticket price was 62,000 rupee from Mumbai to Doha and 12,200 rupees from Mangalore to Mumbai.
Now the airline and the agent is refusing any refund. Can some one advice how to deal with the case...
 
  1. Escalation to Air India
  2. If No Response from Airline
    • File complaint on DGCA AirSewa Portal (airsewa.gov.in).
    • File consumer complaint on eDaakhil portal for refund + compensation.
  3. Demand Compensation
    • Refund of ₹74,200 (₹62,000 + ₹12,200) plus additional damages for mental harassment, hotel/meal expenses, and loss of time.
    • DGCA/Consumer Courts have in past cases awarded full refund + ₹10,000–₹25,000 extra compensationfor such issues.
