I am writing to formally raise a complaint against Amazon India for failing to collect a return product from my address and not issuing the corresponding refund amount, despite multiple requests and follow-ups.


I had placed an order on Amazon India with the following details:

Despite several scheduled pickup attempts, Amazon has failed to collect the product as no one came to collect the product from me, NO calls Nothing , and as a result, my refund has not been processed. I have contacted their customer service multiple times, but the issue remains unresolved. They Always issue a new date for pickup and no one comes For pickup. In my last conversation with customer executive they created a new pickup without my consent. I was asking them for the refund and they created a new pickup for my return without my consent. I am very frustrated with their behavior as they cut the all. Even their customer executive gave me assurance in the last second call that this is the last attempt for the pickup , if no one comes for the pickup this time we will issue the refund to you this is as per our return policy that if 3 pickup points are created for the order and its not picked up by amazon we have to issue the refund immediately. This has caused me financial loss, stress, and significant inconvenience.


Therefore, I respectfully request:​


  1. Immediate refund of ₹ 517
  2. Compensation of ₹ 5000 for the time wasted, repeated follow-ups, and mental harassment caused by Amazon’s negligent service.

I am attaching supporting documents including order details, return pickup mails for your records.

I kindly urge the Consumer Forum to intervene in this matter and take necessary action against Amazon India to protect consumer rights and prevent such issues from recurring.

Subject: Complaint regarding incorrect return and refund not received
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent issue I faced with an order placed on Amazon. I had ordered a specific book, but upon delivery, I received a completely different book. To correct this, I initiated a return and handed over the wrong book (as received) to the delivery person during the return pickup process.
At the time of return, I was assured that the refund would be processed within 1–2 working days. However, I did not receive the refund even after the said time period. I then contacted the Amazon helpline and was informed to call again on 10-07-2025. When I followed up on that date, I was shocked to hear that my return was marked invalid, stating that I returned a different book (another incorrect item), which is not true.
Let me clarify once again: I returned the exact book that was delivered to me — which itself was not the book I originally ordered. Now I am being told that neither the refund will be processed nor the book will be returned to me. This is extremely disappointing, and I feel cheated despite being honest throughout the process.
I request you to kindly look into this matter and resolve it at the earliest. I am a regular and loyal customer of Amazon, and I believe such issues should be resolved with fairness. I would be grateful if my refund is processed as per the return policy.
