I purchased the "AWS Master DevOps Program" from Edureka for a total amount of ₹30,000. At the time of purchase, Edureka explicitly promised "lifetime access" to all the recorded sessions of this course.

Nature of Complaint:

  1. Unilateral Removal of Access: Recently, the course completely disappeared from the "My Courses" section on my Edureka Learning Management System (LMS).
  2. Unfair Upselling (Bait-and-Switch): When I inquired about the missing course, Edureka's team informed me that the course had been discontinued. Instead of honoring the lifetime access agreement or providing the video files, they attempted to upsell me an alternative course priced at ₹80,000. They offered to adjust my previous ₹30,000, demanding I pay an additional ₹50,000 to continue my learning. I explicitly refused this, as I had already paid for lifetime access to my original course.
  3. Severe Deficiency in Customer Service: I have raised multiple support tickets regarding this issue, all of which have been completely ignored. I have also made repeated phone calls to their customer support line, which are perpetually kept on hold with zero response from their agents.
Conclusion of Grievance:Edureka has breached our contract by revoking access to a fully paid product and is engaging in unfair trade practices by using this as a tactic to extort an additional ₹50,000 from me.

Relief Sought:I request the Consumer Forum to intervene and direct Edureka to provide one of the following immediate resolutions:

  1. Complete restoration of my lifetime access to the recorded sessions of the AWS Master DevOps Program as originally promised.
  2. A full refund of my ₹30,000, along with compensation for the mental harassment and time lost due to their unresponsive support system.
