Details of the Issue
I had requested relocation of my Jio Fiber connection on 22 November 2025 and paid Rs. 1200 for the relocation service. I received a confirmation SMS for the payment (Booking No. LR000015Q46B) stating that a voucher of Rs. 1200 would be credited to my My Jio account.
However, despite the payment:
This clearly shows deficiency of service, unfair trade practice, and mental harassment caused due to false commitments and non-provision of the service within a reasonable time.

I request the Hon'ble Consumer Forum to direct Jio to:

Details of the Issue

However, despite the payment:
- I received daily SMS stating that a service engineer would visit for installation.
- No engineer visited even once for several days.
- I contacted Jio customer care multiple times and was repeatedly told “installation will be done today,” but nothing happened.
- Due to the delay, my work from home was severely affected, and I was forced to take an Airtel connection to resume my work.
- I requested Jio to cancel the relocation and refund Rs. 1200, but I received only automated responses with no action taken.
This clearly shows deficiency of service, unfair trade practice, and mental harassment caused due to false commitments and non-provision of the service within a reasonable time.
4. Relief / Compensation Sought
I request the Hon'ble Consumer Forum to direct Jio to:
- Refund Rs. 1200 paid for the relocation service.
- Provide compensation for inconvenience, mental stress, and disruption caused during my work-from-home schedule (recommended: Rs. 5,000 – Rs. 10,000).
- Pay any additional costs as deemed fit by the Forum.
