Complaint Against JioFiber for Deficiency in Service, Failure to Resolve Technical Issue, and Financial Loss

I wish to file a complaint against JioFiber for gross deficiency in service and failure to provide the internet and television services for which I have been paying.
My JioFiber connection has remained non-functional since 25 June 2026. Despite lodging multiple complaints and making continuous follow-ups for more than 13 days, the issue has not been resolved.
During this period:
● I have had no internet and no TV services.
● Multiple service engineers visited my premises and confirmed that the issue was caused by a faulty Jio hardware/device that requires replacement.
● However, I was repeatedly informed that the required replacement device is unavailable.
● Instead of replacing their own defective equipment, I was advised to cancel my existing connection and purchase a new connection, which is completely unreasonable and unacceptable.
● Customer support repeatedly provided assurances that the issue would be resolved, but no effective action has been taken.
● My requests for reimbursement or service credit for the prolonged outage have also been denied.
This prolonged disruption has caused significant inconvenience and has adversely affected my professional work, resulting in financial loss and mental distress. I have continued paying for a service that has not been provided. Additionally, the data included in my monthly plan has gone to waste because the service remained unavailable, and the unused data does not carry forward.
I believe this constitutes a clear case of deficiency in service and unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
I respectfully request that the Commission direct JioFiber to:
1. Restore my services immediately or provide an appropriate alternative without requiring cancellation of my existing connection.
2. Refund or compensate me for the entire period during which the services remained unavailable.
3. Compensate me for the inconvenience, loss of work, mental harassment, and repeated follow-ups caused due to their negligence.
4. Direct the company to bear the costs incurred in pursuing this complaint and any other relief deemed appropriate.
