Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Flipkart and Thomson regarding a defective product and misleading warranty information.

  • Product Purchased: Thomson Rapido 5 L Instant Water Geyser
  • Order Date: 30th October 2025
  • Installation Date: 31st October 2025
  • Warranty: 2 years (as advertised on Flipkart)
  • Order ID: OD335809316622993100
Within two weeks of installation, the product stopped working. I raised a complaint with Thomson on 22nd November 2025, and since then, despite repeated follow-ups until 11th December 2025, I have received no proper response.

Thomson Customer Care informed me that they do not provide service for water geysers, which contradicts the warranty claim shown on Flipkart. This raises a serious concern about fake warranty promises being made to customers.

I have tried multiple times to resolve this issue through Flipkart and Thomson, but neither party has provided a solution. Flipkart has now stopped responding to my queries.

My Request:

  • Please take strict action against Flipkart and Thomson for selling products with fake warranties.
  • Kindly arrange for a full refund of the amount paid for this product.

I am attaching all relevant documents, including the invoice, warranty details, and communication records, for your reference.

*15 th sep* - I paid 57344 /- to Flipkart which includes (laptop worth -54039/- and extend accident warranty of 3 years worth 3304/-)
