Subject: Complaint regarding negligence by KSRTC staff during journey from Thodupuzha to Kannur

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am a female student who travelled on a KSRTC bus from Thodupuzha to Kannur with an online booked ticket.

During the journey, the bus stopped due to a tyre puncture/repair issue. The driver and conductor informed passengers that the repair work would be completed by around 9:40 PM. Based on this information, I went to use the nearby toilet facility and returned by approximately 9:35 PM.

However, the bus had already left the location without informing me or checking whether all passengers had boarded. I immediately contacted the conductor, but instead of assisting me, I was told to arrange another bus on my own and continue the journey to Kannur.

Being a woman travelling alone at night, this incident caused serious mental stress, inconvenience, safety concerns, and additional expenses. Leaving a female passenger behind during a night journey without proper verification was extremely irresponsible and negligent.

I request KSRTC to:

  1. Conduct a proper investigation into the incident.
  2. Take appropriate action against the concerned staff.
  3. Provide compensation/refund for the inconvenience, mental distress, and additional expenses caused.

I am ready to provide the ticket details, call records, and supporting documents if required.

Thanking you,

Name: BhamaLakshmi MS
