I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSoM) regarding their failure to process my rightful fee refund in accordance with the guidelines laid down by AICTE.

I had secured admission to the institute and paid an amount of ₹1,00,000 as part of the admission and enrollment process. However, due to personal and academic considerations, I decided to withdraw my admission within the stipulated timeframe prescribed under AICTE norms for fee refund eligibility.

Despite complying with all the required procedures for withdrawal and submitting the necessary requests within the applicable deadline, the institute has not processed my refund. This is in clear violation of the AICTE refund policy, which mandates that institutions must return the fees after deducting only the permissible administrative charges if a student withdraws within the defined period.

I have made multiple attempts to communicate with the administration through emails and other channels, but I have either received no response or vague assurances without any concrete resolution. This lack of transparency and non-compliance is causing me significant financial stress and mental inconvenience.

I request your immediate intervention in this matter to ensure that the institute adheres to AICTE regulations and processes my refund at the earliest. I am prepared to provide all necessary documents, including payment receipts, admission confirmation, withdrawal request, and communication records, to support my case.

I sincerely hope that this issue will be addressed promptly and fairly.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hey! Have you received any reply/refund from jagsom? i am in the same boat. they are telling me that they'll refund me in august/september. It's too late and i need the money for personal purposes. they have not even sent me any acknowledgement email for the admission withdrawal or any correspondence whatsoever. On call i told them that they have the written that they follow the AICTE rules for refund on the admission offer letter so why are they not following the rules; the woman i was talking to openly told me that its their decision whether they wish to follow the aicte rules or not. It's like they are openly admitting that they have written misleading information on the offer letter. also, i tried registering a complaint on ugc e-samadhan portal but their name is not listed there even though they are registered with ugc. so i cant even lodge a complaint anywhere. did you find any solution?
