I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the way my complaint regarding a damaged LG refrigerator has been handled @Flipkart174
The refrigerator was delivered (Order# OD4375461934**********) with a dented door and misaligned doors. The issue was reported immediately upon delivery, and I have been continuously following up since then. The product remains unused and kept aside, as I cannot accept or use a damaged product after paying such a significant amount. Also, the Flipkart installation team visited my home and clearly confirmed that the unit will not provide adequate cooling, even after installation. They have already shared this feedback with the @Flipkart174 team along with a video recording as evidence.
To date, I have raised return/replacement/refund requests 11+ times. Each time, the request remains active for a few days and then gets cancelled without any proper resolution.
On several occasions, I received messages from Flipkart stating that the product would be picked up on a specific date, along with the pickup agent's contact number. However, when I call the provided number and mention that the pickup is for the LG refrigerator, the agent either disconnects the call immediately or briefly acknowledges (with the message OK) and then disconnects. Thereafter, the calls go unanswered, and no pickup attempt is ever made.
Most recently, Flipkart initiated a replacement after rejecting multiple requests and even offering a 20% cashback to retain the damaged product. I declined the offer because I purchased a new refrigerator, not a damaged one. The replacement was scheduled for delivery, and I even postponed my travel plans to remain at home. However, the status was later updated to "Delivery cancellation requested by customer," which is completely false. Neither I nor any family member requested cancellation, and no delivery agent contacted or visited us.
I am deeply concerned that false updates are being recorded in the system while the actual issue remains unresolved. It appears that requests are being closed without genuine pickup or delivery attempts.
I have completely lost confidence in both Flipkart and Ekartl's handling of this matter. What should have been a straightforward replacement of a damaged product has turned into weeks of frustration, repeated follow-ups, cancelled requests, missed pickups, and misleading status updates.
I request immediate intervention from the experts here in this forum and resolve my issue in one of the following ways:
I expect a definitive resolution and response from the management team at the earliest.
