I had initiated a return request for my ASOS DESIGN ruched bodycon dress well within the stipulated return period, as it was too large for me and did not fit properly (the size chart on the website was also inaccurate). Despite receiving multiple “out for pickup” messages from Xpressbees, no pickup was made. On six occasions, the status was falsely marked as “customer not available” even though I was at home, having left work early to facilitate the pickup. My complaint to Xpressbees went unanswered, the delivery partner did not respond to calls, and although Ajio had assured me that the matter would be resolved by 11th August 2025, the same failed attempts occurred again thereafter. Each time, I was merely asked to wait a few more days, with no satisfactory resolution provided. This caused me considerable inconvenience, wasted time, and financial loss. I am therefore filing this complaint for deficiency of service and unfair trade practices, and I seek immediate redressal.

I would like AJIO to immediately arrange the pickup of the ASOS DESIGN ruched bodycon dress without any further delays, process my refund in full, and take corrective action to ensure such repeated failed pickup attempts and false status updates do not occur again. I also seek compensation for the inconvenience, wasted time, and loss caused by this prolonged and unresolved issue.

Delivery or Pickup delays can occasionally happen due to circumstances beyond the control of the delivery personnel or the service provider. This is quite common in many cases:
  • Food deliveries may sometimes be delayed slightly but are usually delivered within a reasonable time.
  • E-commerce purchases may arrive 2–3 days later than the expected date, especially due to logistics issues, weather conditions, or high order volumes.
Such short delays are generally considered acceptable and fall within a reasonable time frame. However, if there is an unreasonable delay, or if the product or service is not delivered at all or not refunding your amount, you have every right to take action.
