Seller cancelled my order deliberately and has now increased the price. I was told by your customer care executive that this is due to GST verification, however, I have ordered on this GST multiple times in past and this is simply untrue. You are doing fraudulent trade practices.

I completely empathize with your frustration—I have been ensnared in the exact same trap by the very same platform. In my case, a prepaid, confirmed order was unilaterally canceled under a hollow logistical pretext, purely to deny me the promotional sale price.

The "GST verification" excuse is textbook corporate gaslighting. Under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, once an order is confirmed, a binding contract is established. Canceling it arbitrarily to relist the item at a higher price is a flagrant Deficiency of Service and an Unfair Trade Practice under the E-Commerce Rules.

Do not let them close the matter with just a passive refund. Here is how you can push back:
  • Escalate on NCH: If they try to close your National Consumer Helpline ticket with a generic refund update, reject the resolution immediately and mark it as "Unsatisfied."
  • File on e-Daakhil: For a substantial loss like ₹27,500, you can file a formal case online before the District Consumer Commission. For disputes under ₹5 Lakhs, the government waives all court fees.
  • Serve a Pre-Litigation Notice: Email their Grievance Officer directly, giving them a strict 48-hour window to honor the price via a gift voucher before you proceed with legal action for mental agony and financial loss.
E-commerce platforms count on our compliance to sustain these predatory cycles. Stand your ground and take it to the regulators!
