Dear Team,
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding severe mismanagement, misinformation, and negligence I experienced during my enrollment in the MBA program at VIT University (Vellore). I request immediate intervention from the concerned regulatory authorities and a full refund of the fees paid.
I enrolled based on the guidance of Mr. Shubham (93216 43696), who misled me by providing false information regarding another university I preferred. He stated that the university no longer allows online exams for international residents, which I later confirmed to be untrue.
Due to this misrepresentation, I was influenced to choose VIT, which has directly affected my academic plans and career direction.
I repeatedly requested withdrawal and refund starting from the first week of November. However:
This negligence directly caused me to miss the refund deadline.
I received a call from an individual named Naveen (9619678345), introducing himself as part of VIT’s admin/technical/support/operations team. Instead of resolving my concerns, he repeatedly defended the university without offering any solution.
Additionally, lecturers asked students to create groups where certain individuals acted as “sleeper cells” who misguide students, impersonate others, derail grievances, and create confusion. This has caused emotional distress and severely impacted trust in the institution.
The online learning platform suffers from:
No alternative or temporary academic support was provided, affecting my studies and causing mental stress.
Considering all the above, I request the following:
I have already submitted multiple tickets, including Ticket No. #00039965, with no proper response so far.
I am marking this email to:
to ensure transparency and regulatory oversight.
I request that this matter be treated with urgency, as this situation has caused significant mental distress and financial loss. I expect a fair resolution at the earliest.
Thank you for your time and attention.
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding severe mismanagement, misinformation, and negligence I experienced during my enrollment in the MBA program at VIT University (Vellore). I request immediate intervention from the concerned regulatory authorities and a full refund of the fees paid.
1. Misrepresentation by VIT’s Agents/Counsellors
2. Mismanagement of Refund Process
I repeatedly requested withdrawal and refund starting from the first week of November. However:
- Mr. Shubham continuously delayed responses and avoided calls.
- He did not share the correct escalation or support email until the evening of 19th Nov, despite multiple requests.
- By the time I was finally given the proper instructions, the refund window had already closed on 14th November, putting me at a loss through no fault of my own.
- Another counsellor, Ms. Sanjana (70397 84725), provided an inactive support email address and insisted I email it, which further wasted crucial time.
This negligence directly caused me to miss the refund deadline.
3. Harassment & Unprofessional Behaviour by “Support” Members
4. Technical & Academic Issues Affecting Students
The online learning platform suffers from:
- Technical glitches
- System bugs
- Improper rollout without testing
- Lack of prompt support
No alternative or temporary academic support was provided, affecting my studies and causing mental stress.
5. Request for Immediate Action
Considering all the above, I request the following:
- A full refund of my MBA semester fees, since the delay was caused solely due to misinformation from VIT’s representatives.
- A formal investigation into the conduct of the individuals named above.
- Clear and official communication channels for student grievances.
- Protection against misleading practices by counsellors working with or representing VIT.
I have already submitted multiple tickets, including Ticket No. #00039965, with no proper response so far.
